Update with Praises and Prayer Requests: June 24, 2026

Greetings brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus,

We are delighted to share that we will see many of you, in person, over these next few months in the United States. The Lord has faithfully carried us through the season of house construction in a village among the Umajam people and through a few months of language and culture acquisition. We are toward the end of phase 2 (out of 5) of language learning, meaning we have a bit over 2,000 inumajamnon words in our “word log” and loads of audio recordings hearing our language helpers speak. This raw audio material is invaluable to our understanding of their language.

We are scheduled to arrive in California at the end of June, and we are so thankful for the Lord’s provision for our international tickets, housing in California, a vehicle in California and other amazing gifts. Praise Him with us for this.

These next four months are our official “Home Assignment”, in which we take time to update individual supporters and local churches about what the Lord is doing among a least-reached people group in the southern Philippines, among whom we have the privilege of serving. If you would like to get together, we would love to see you. It will likely be a few years before we will get the opportunity to visit again. Our locations over the next four months:

July: Central Coast, California

August: Central Coast, California and Escondido, California

September: Montana and Wyoming then back to Central Coast, California

October: Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri

November 1: Returning to Philippines

‍November: Indonesia for a church planting conference.

Late-November: Back home to our Umajam village, Philippines

Please pray for us in the many plane flights and drives from now through November. Please pray that we would be an encouragement to those we meet with, and that the Lord might use this time to challenge people of different ages and skill sets to part time or full time ministry to help reach the least reached of the world.
